The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is available for both the Gamecube and the Wii. Link now sets out with Midna who helps him master his new acquired wolf form, on a journey to stop Zant and his evil plan. Link learns from Midna that Zant, King of the Twilight Realm has defeated the Guardians of Light and is crossing over to our realm and spread darkness all over the land. But luckily, an imp named Midna appears and releases Link from captivity and leads him back to Princess Zelda. One day, the village is attacked by unknown monsters and takes away some of the village’s children and so Link sets out to rescue them, but as he moves out to find the missing children, Link gets faced with the Twilight and a shadow beast appears and drags him into the Twilight, transforming him into a wolf and getting him captured. Twilight Princess pulls a complete 180 from the last GameCube iteration, The Wind Waker, shirking off that games kiddified visual trappings and waterlogged nautical gameplay in favor of a return to the realistic environments, darker themes, and horseback action of 1998s Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64). » Twilight Princess takes place after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time where we find Link settling in a peaceful village called Ordon. And of course the game became one of the most anticipated Legend of Zelda releases ever.
